A break for some coffee and an Old Fashioned Donut.
This location in the Cherry Creek Mall was previously a Peaberry Coffee stand. Then they closed many of their locations and of course, Starbucks moved right in.
A break in my work schedule lets me visit the Apple Store in Cherry Creek Mall, and still have time for Coffee and a Scone.
There have been at least three stories I've heard about over the past couple of weeks regarding the "Food Police." KFC, Starbucks, and this story about Marshmallow Fluff apparently mean that these folks have the summer off to chase their own demons. And, in the aftermath and fallout, drive the rest of us to wonder why they're let loose on the public. Now I rarely go to KFC and dont think I've ever had any Marshmallow Fluff in a sandwich, so that knocks out 2 of the three for me. Yes, Starbucks is on my list of places visited nearly once a day, and depending on where I am, even more than the one visit. I dont generally have anything to eat while at Starbucks, so I'm low on the list of eating while getting my coffee fix while there. Hopefully the "Food Police" will take a road trip and these stories will fade into the dust bin of forgotten stories. Of course with blogging and Google they are only a keyboard away.
