Design Flaw.
This qualifies as a Tom Peter's, "Design Shitty." The coffee can has a 1/4 inch lip around the entire can, which they attach the peel back freshness seal. While this eliminates the razor sharp frisbie can top, it also allows you not to be able to get all the coffee out of the can.
